This policy covers Golden Mile: Traffic Racer, published by Ozgur Ersil, and this website. Version 2.0 is released on iOS and Android. Features described below apply when you use a version that includes them; the version 1 services are described separately.
No manual account registration or email address is required to play. Online features create an anonymous authentication identity. You can choose a driver nickname; it does not need to be your real name. We do not sell your personal information.
Progress on your device
The game stores progress, settings, achievements, wallet balances, owned items and equipped choices locally. Version 2.0 does not promise automatic iCloud wallet or cosmetic synchronization between devices. Updating from version 1 may read the older app’s locally stored wallet and preferences to migrate them.
Online profiles, leaderboards & races
In version 2.0, Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Realtime Database support anonymous sign-in, driver profiles, leaderboards, matchmaking and friend races. Records may include an app-generated user identifier, a device identifier, platform, chosen nickname, preset avatar, country flag, scores, rating and race state. Device identifiers help associate a device with its prior online profile.
Your nickname, avatar, country flag and leaderboard results are visible to other players. Race opponents receive information needed to show and synchronize the race. Country defaults may come from your device region or, on Android, SIM or language information; this is not precise GPS tracking. Friend invite links contain a race code. There is no in-game chat or player-uploaded image or video content.
Read Firebase’s privacy information for details about Google’s processing.
Advertising & consent
Google AdMob serves interstitial ads after a race, not during gameplay. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect IP-derived approximate location, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, fraud prevention and analytics. Personalized advertising and identifier access depend on your consent, device permissions and regional requirements.
On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency permission controls access to tracking where required. Declining that permission is supported. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages advertising consent choices. You can revisit available privacy options in in-game Settings. Remove Ads disables the game’s advertising; it does not disable the separate online or diagnostic services described here.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.
Gameplay analytics & crash reports
Firebase Analytics records gameplay and interaction events, app/device information and app-instance identifiers to help us understand usage. Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports, error logs and device diagnostics to help find and fix failures. These identifiers are not a request for your real name, but they can distinguish an app installation or device.
Purchases & platform services
Apple StoreKit processes iOS purchases; Google Play Billing processes purchases in the Android version. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The game processes product identifiers and transaction information needed to grant purchases and restore eligible non-consumable purchases.
Optional Apple Game Center or Google Play Games services can associate scores and achievements with your platform profile when signed in. These services follow the respective platform’s privacy policies.
If you still use iOS version 1
The earlier iOS app mirrors wallet and cosmetic information through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage on your Apple Account. That is separate from the version 2.0 online profile. Version 1 also uses RevenueCat for purchase/advertising revenue events under an app-generated identifier and Apple AdServices for advertising attribution. These older integrations should not be understood as a promise that version 2.0 restores an iCloud wallet.
This website
This website uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and store link clicks. Google may process browser/device information, online identifiers and interactions. Download links take you to the relevant store, which has its own privacy policy. We do not collect an email address on this website.
Retention & your choices
- On iOS, manage tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, manage the advertising ID in your device’s privacy settings.
- Reopen the advertising privacy options offered in the game’s Settings to review consent.
- Uninstalling removes local app data but does not by itself delete online profile records, store transactions, platform achievements or older iCloud data. Manage iCloud data through your Apple Account’s iCloud storage settings.
- Online profile records are retained to operate profiles and leaderboards until deletion is requested or they are no longer needed. Service providers retain diagnostic and advertising data under their own policies and settings. Some transaction information may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting or legal requirements.
- To request access, correction or deletion of your online profile and leaderboard entries, email hello@goldenmileapp.com with your nickname. We may need to verify ownership. We aim to respond and process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
